About the event
Looking for creative and fun things to do in London? Love all things eco-friendly? Grab your friends, family or co-workers and come and make stunning prints on using bio-waste and flowers. During this class, which is situated in a beautiful purpose-designed Natural Dye Studio in East London, you will learn how natural dyes work and how to fix them onto cotton, linen, and cellulose-based fibres. You will be taken through the preparation of fabrics for natural dyeing as well as getting hands-on and experimenting with bio-waste and flowers to create unique patterns. Finally, you will create a unique design onto either a napkin or tea towel. Don't worry if you're new to eco printing, this enjoyable workshop is a great place to learn all about this fun and planet-friendly DIY craft. Not only will you head home with your printed creation, but you'll head home with the skills to make more! Please note: This class is suitable for vegans and uses only sustainably sourced and waste dyestuff.
