Angela Amaba
Angela is a London based textile and fine artist. Born and raised in a small village in the Philippines, the ancient traditions of making things by hand were a part of everyday life. At the forefront of her work is the idea to be as conscious as possible. Fabrics are collected, manipulated, distressed and transformed into individual pieces of wearable and usable. Angela has been focused on natural dyes with the emphasis on rust and felting since 2013 whilst studying textiles at UAL Farnham.
